We offer tweeze only option for existing clients who cannot wax due to a contraindication such as acne medicine, use of acne treatment products or if have recently had a treatment done.
If you are using the following prescriptions, you should not wax. Stop use for at least 3 months, preceding waxing. Accutane; you should be off this medicine of at least 1 year before preceding waxing.

The following items can make your skin progressively more sensitive and can cause irrational, lifting during waxing.
- Acne Medication
- Alpha Hydroxy Acids ( Glycolic / Lactic )
- Oral Antibiotics
- Topical Antibiotics
- Retinol
- Salicylic Acid
- Acid based items
- Exfoliants
You should wait a minimum of 7 days before waxing after chemical peels, microdermabrasion or taking any of the items listed above.
Do not wax if you have had a laser skin resurfacing in the past year.
Do not wax if you have had a doctor-administered peel in the past 2 years.
You may encounter sensitivity to waxing as long as 7 days before the start of your period.
NO waxing on sunburned skin or irrupted regions.
These factors are known to make waxing more prone to lifting or irritation.
- Blood thinners
- Medications for autoimmune disease
- Lupus Medication
- Diabetics
- Recent laser treatment
- Rosacea
- Peels – microdermabrasion and acids based items.
- Sunburns
Laminations / Stains / Lifts – Pregnancy and Breastfeeding is a contraindication !
